HIGHEST WICKETS TAKEN IN WORLD CUP 2015

The list of top bowlers continues to be dominated by New Zealand’s Tim Southee on Day 21 of 2015 Cricket World Cup. He has taken 13 wickets so far in four matches played so far in the tournament. He is followed by South African pacer Morne Morkel, Scotland’s Josh Davey, West Indies Jerome Taylor and Pakistan Wahab Riaz in the top-5 of leading wicket-takers list of ICC World Cup 2015 taking 11 wickets each. Tim Southee’s 7-11 against England is also the best bowling figure in the ICC World Cup 2015. It is followed by Mitchell Marsh’s 6-28 against New Zealand as well. Trent Boult of New Zealand produced 5-27 against Australia to feature third in best bowling figures.Australian Mitchell Marsh’s 5-33 puts him to fourth place while Imran Tahir of South Africa takes 5-45 to complete list of best bowling figures. India’s R Ashwin takes 10th place with his best ODI bowling figure 4-25 against United Arab Emirates.
